Well, this work was another one to kill the boreness I had in my house. Sometime ago, I started reading this novel named "Sea Change" which was the inspiration to this work. The story is about mermaids & of course well, it made me want to draw one. However, I didn't wanted it to be just a plain mermaid with a fish tail. i wanted to do something without needing to used a tail. So, I decided to turn her earns into fins.

The work's original sketch had some fishes ( one upfront of her chest and one beside her face) unfortunately, they were doing a clash of fist importance perspective with the mermaid ( which is the main perspective), so i had to eliminated them.
